Ingredients :
- 1 cup dry cocoa
- 2 cups espresso coffee
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tspn baking soda
- ½ tspn baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 2¼ cup sugar
- 1 tspn vanilla
- ¾ tspn almond extract
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Mix cocoa and coffee until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- Beat together eggs, butter, sugar and extracts.
- Add flour and coffee mixtures to the butter mixture alternately,
beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Grease and flour the bottom of a 9" by 13" cake pan.
- Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes to one hour, until toothpick inserted
into center of cake comes out clean.
