Black Russian Cake

 


Ingredients :

  • 1 packet yellow cake mix
  • 1 packet instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 tspn cinnamon
  • 2 tspn instant coffee
  • 4 eggs
    for milk chocolate frosting :
  • ½ packet milk chocolate frost mix
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp orange flavor liqueur
  • ¼ tspn almond extract
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup oil
  • ¼ cup vodka
  • ¼ cup Tia Maria or cream de cacao


Preparation and Cooking Instructions :

  1. Combine all ingredients, blend for 1 minutes with mixer at low speed; beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Spoon into greased and floured Bundt pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Cool at least 10 minutes in pan; turn out to cool.
  4. Ice with the milk chocolate frosting.
  5. For Frosting : Combine all ingredients in small mixing bowl, beat 1 minute at low speed, beat for 1 minute at high speed. Stir in a few more drops of water until mixture reaches desired spreading consistency.
